The Story So Far

The firm was established in 2015 and began trading in 2016. The firm is made up of two principal members who are legally qualified to undertake transactional work, no matter the complexity. JP Goldman Limited was set up as an Alternative Business Structure model firm, regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Brain-child of Daniel Hewitt and Nick Bunstone; JP Goldman was set up because they knew that they could draw upon years of experience to develop a service that was unique. JP Goldman understands that communication between all parties in a transaction is key and more effective communication can be achieved by having more time to spend with each client’s file. We don’t spend time fighting other parties in the transaction; we work with them to ensure that all parties are up to date so everyone can assist each other in bringing the transaction to a successful conclusion.

It is therefore JP Goldman’s decision to limit the amount of clients each fee earner will look after at any one time. Fewer client’s per fee earner means more time dedicated to each transaction which equates to a better quality service overall.

JP Goldman works closely with estate agents and other parties involved in transactions which ensures all parties are up to date and aware of outstanding matters. This often helps transactions to move more smoothly.

In 2020 JP Goldman was acquired by sister company HB Property Legal and the two brands now operate as true Conveyancing Specialist regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers.

JP Goldman is proud to have forged relationships with local community teams and charities to give back wherever possible. JP Goldman works directly with Francis House Childrens Hospice  which is a fantastic charity helping children and their families in the most challenging circumstances imaginable. The charity has been close to Daniel’s heart since visiting as part of a primary school trip and as well as personally donating to the charity the team at JP Goldman take part in various fundraising events and challenges each year.

JP Goldman proudly work with and promote The Conveyancing Foundation a registered not for profit charity, which was established by conveyancers to help raise awareness and funds for charity. JP Goldman do this by giving all of our clients the opportunity to enter into a charitable prize draw with 90% of the proceeds going to charity.

JP Goldman has subscribed to the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter we strive for our workplace to be a place where our people are fairly compensated, have job security, flexibility to work around the complexities of modern life, and is an environment where health and wellbeing thrives.
